What:	Ficcare(FeKAARE) is derived from the Portuguese word "Ficar" which means "to stay." It was inspired by 3 sisters' vision "to stay" in business together and for our products "to stay" everlasting with our customers. Ficcare's collection of modern, upscale, and elegant accessories captures a sleek, practical attitude. Ficcare continually strives to design unique and contemporary pieces that are timeless and functional. All of our hair accessories are hand made and hand painted.
Who:	The young entrepreneurs and creators behind Ficcare have appeared on "The Oprah Show," "Access Hollywood," "KNBC News," "CNNfn Entrepreneur's 'Only Cover Story'" and "Eye on LA."
Why:	They always loved to do each other's hair when growing up and they got tired of the old hair clips, especially the plastic ones. "There was nothing new and cool that we wanted to wear so we decided to change that with Ficcare."
How:	It all began in 1997 when the Ficcare creations caught the eyes of Hollywood. The sisters met up with some of the most coveted actresses in Hollywood including Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox Arquette, Cybill Shepherd, Kirstie Alley, Ming-Na, and Helen Hunt. The Ficcare line got its first TV appearance on "Friends" and since then, Ficcare has been featured in more than 15 TV shows and films including the latest addition of "Sideways", "Desperate Housewives" and "Grey's Anatomy." The list of celebrity clients now include Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Felicity Huffman, Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Oh, Kate Heigl, Minnie Driver, Kate Beckingsale and Christina Applegate. Ficcare has also made its mark on innumerous fashion magazine editorials such as in "In Style," "Vogue," "Cosmopolitan," "Elle," "Marie Claire," " Shop Etc.," "Lucky" and many more.
